Project Overview
Our client sells a magnetic fabric pouch on Amazon US. The original image stack never explained what set it apart from a generic pouch: the magnetic attach, the extra-pocket use case and the 6×5 size were all easy to miss. Shoppers arrived and left unsure, with conversion sitting at just 2.35%.
Rather than tweak a single main image, we rebuilt the entire stack. To isolate the effect of the creative, we compared the month before the update with a settled month after it. Price held at around $19.99, star rating stayed at 4.0 and Buy Box share held at 99.8%, so the shift in performance points squarely to the new images.

Our Design Process
- Clarified the Product at a Glance: Rebuilt the main image so the pouch, retail box and magnet discs sit in one frame. Shoppers now see exactly what they are buying, not a loose piece of denim.
- Showcased the Core Use Case: Lifestyle images placed a phone, keys, glasses and tools inside the pouch on a bag and a work vest, making the "keep essentials visible" benefit readable straight from the thumbnail.
- Explained the Magnetic Attach: A folded-corner shot and a 10 lb pull callout turned the sewn-in magnets into the hero feature, so buyers no longer had to guess how it stays put.
- Opened Up New Surfaces: Fridge, whiteboard and headboard crops reframed the product from "it sticks to a bag" to "it turns unused space into storage" at work, at home and on the move.
- Built the Specs into the Creative: On-image copy covered the 6×5 format and everyday hold, so the listing no longer leaned on the title to do all the selling.
Results
- Sales up 74.8%: ordered product sales rose from $479.76 to $838.58.
- Units up 75%: units ordered rose from 24 to 42.
- Conversion doubled: unit session rate moved from 2.35% to 4.71%.
- Fewer sessions, more orders: sessions fell 12.8% (1,023 to 892), so the listing converted harder rather than buying more traffic.
